Where are my shoes?

Bute6 has become quite fascinating with shoes. She calls them socks (saa saaa!), but she means shoes. The first thing she wants in the morning is to have her shoes on (she is very afraid of being left out of any outing). But she is also very disturbed if she finds anyone else's shoes on the floor rather than on their feet. She will determinedly hunt down the owner (and she KNOWS which shoes belong to which person) and demand that you put your shoes on. (saaa saaa SAAAA SAAAAA). It doesn't matter if you are already wearing a different pair of shoes, you must take them off and put on the ones she is holding. Then of course she picks up the shoes which you discarded and demands that you put THOSE on....
She does occasionally get distracted from her urgent shoe patrols, in which case she will drop your (single) shoe wherever she happens to be at the moment. Which will be nowhere near your other shoe and nowhere you would think to look for a shoe (behind the toilet, under the stairs, in the pantry, you get the idea). Which is added incentive for us all to put our shoes away before Bute6 finds them!
