Candle Day

On Jan. 30 we celebrated Candle Day (though it's really Feb. 2). Grandma,Grandpa, and Uncle Gabe came and we turned off all the lights and decorated candles that we lit on the mantle. Uncle Gabe and I made fire and Uncle Gabe cooked tater-tots and cheese in his Dutch Oven. After dinner we cooked marshmallows and Bute3, Bute4, Bute5, Bute6, and I played in the playroom while Bute1 and the Grown-ups talked. When our guests were leaving we each got our candle down from the mantle to blow it out and Bute4 accidentally spilled wax on his stuffed Sam I Am and we still don't know how to get it off.
