In the Cub Scout Pinewood Derby you get trophies for the 4 fastest cars in your Rank. Also there are awards for car designs for Best Cub Scout theme, Most Patriotic Design etc.
We had a pretty good Pinewood Derby this year. We had Five Cars though only three did the actual races: Bute 3's Bute 4's and Mine. One was Bute 1's who is now in Boy Scouts but still races in the Sibling Races at Cub Scout Pinewood Derbys. The Fifth was Bute 5's who is not yet a Cub Scout but has been doing Sibling Races for three years.Bute 1's car was a holder with a NXT Brick in it that would say things or Caculate things during the race. My car was a Blue Pickup truck with Yellow wheels, headlights, and the Cub Scout Promise on the top, going for the Best Cub Scout Theme (Blue and Gold are the Cub Scout Colors). Bute 3's car was a Race Car going for the Most Realistic Design. Bute 4's car was just a Triangle all red Complete with Red Wheels going for just coolness or Judges Choice. Bute 5's car was a Tank with a cool camaflodge paint done by Bute 1.

We all raced well with Bute 4 getting 2nd
Place in the Bear Rank and me getting
2nd Place in the WEBELO Rank. I also got
the Best Cub Scout theme though Butes 3
and 4 did not get any themes.
