Once again the Buterboys (and girl) elected to do a group costume for Halloween. In fact I think for them Halloween is less of a costume party and more of chance to practice a dramatic stage entrance. They are not content to just sidle up to our neighbors doors, they must charge forward, swords waving, issuing their battle cry "In Aslan's name, forward!" They will patiently wait until other Trick-or-Treaters are out of the way, so as not to dilute their impact!
Trumpkin the Dwarf
King Peter the Magnificent
King Caspian the Seafarer
King Edmund the Just
Eustace Clarence Scrubb
Queen Lucy the Valiant
In order to accommodate the whole group we had to take some artistic license with the stories. In fact there is no story in which all of the above characters appear together. Furthermore, Eustance is not actually ever knighted. However, in the end it was decided it was better to all appear together as the knights who serve Aslan, than having to have some be the "bad guys"

I love it! It makes me smile just envisioning them all charging up to the doorway in character- sounds like a lot of fun for everyone!
