Bute6 has discovered slides this spring. Unfortunately for her the only slide we had was a big play set in the backyard with a ladder which was very dangerous for her. Bute1 would take pity on her and carry her up there time and again, but she couldn't do it herself. After a few days of scouring garage sales and second hand stores we turned up a Little Tykes slide in mint condition for $15. All the boys cheerfully piled in the car for the 1 hour (!) roundtrip to the outer reaches of Columbus suburbs to finally get Bute6 her own toddler slide. It is hard to say who was more delighted with our find -- Bute6 or her brothers who all crowded around to watch her first slide!
