Bute 2's Story of The Car on the Mountain.
The Buterbaugh family was on their way to a family reunion deep in a state park along the Greenbriar River in West Virginia. As we neared our destination we turned onto a winding gravel road that climbed up a steep mountain. As the car tipped dangerously, Mom got too scared to drive. Dad took over driving but I was worried because Mom was scared. Mom never gets scared. After a while Mom and Dad told everyone to get out and we all got out. We realized we could not turn our car around because the road was too narrow after a lot of unsuccessful tries to turn the car around we walked down the Mountain. Bute3 was getting really scared. The family that lived down the Mountain, The Widdingtons were very friendly and they let us play in their yard while Mr. Widdington drove Dad to our cabins to get our uncles and our grandpa. When they returned we all walked back up the mountain we tried again several more times but we just couldn't do it. Finally we decided we had to back it down the Mountain!!! Grandpa backed slowly down while Dad and our uncles gave him directions. finally we turned around and drove to our cabins without going on a single wrong road.
