Bute 2`s Blue and Gold Dinner

Written by Bute4

A Blue and Gold dinner is a celebration of the anniversary of scouting which happens every February. The oldest rank of cub scouts are called Webelo IIs and at the Blue and Gold dinner they cross over into Boy Scouts. This year Bute2 crossed over.

At Bute 2`s Blue and Gold dinner there were huge stacks of pizza boxes.

The party started with a flag ceremony and Bute 2 got to lead
it.

There were balloons on every table and everyone got to take them home except us because Lady Bute is allergic to latex. First we ate.

Then there was the crossing over ceremony where the Boy Scouts put the Boy Scout neckerchief over your Webolo Neckerchief and then remove their Webelo neckerchief.

Last there was a ventriloquist at the party who did very funny tricks. I had a lot of fun at the Blue and Gold dinner.
