We finally found the trolley to the Sunset district. Exiting the trolley with all our luggage proved to be quite the spectacle involving multiple door alarms and help from strangers.. It was now close to 11 PM as we straggled the last fie blocks on foot to our rental condo.
After a wonderful refreshing sleep and an enormous breakfast of creeps we rented bikes for a 9 mile ride through the Presidio and across the Golden Gate bridge. Of course we were not calibrated to the fact that 9 miles in San Francisco is a lot more grueling than 9 miles in Ohio! Fortunately Brent toyed Ilona in a tandem. After crossing the bridge we took the Ferry from Sausalito back to San Francisco. After a long day of bike riding we returned to the our condo and looked for a nearby place for dinner. Much to the dismay of our less adventurous eaters the local options were all Asian. In the end we managed to find something that everyone could eat at a local Vietnamese restaurant with very generous portions of Pho.
