Bute3 goes to the OSU-Michigan game

It was a cold and windy day, but Big Bute and Bute3 had tickets to Ohio State's rival match up, Michigan. Here, in Bute3's words is how they spent the day:

First we bundled up. I had four layers on. We biked across High St. then we biked through the Park of Roses and got on the Olentangy Bikeway.

We biked towards the flower prairie and then out into the roads where the trail went. Then we got back on the trail, crossed the Olentangy River twice, then made a wrong turn towards Hudson St. Next we turned off onto Patterson Rd. which we took up to Neil Ave. Then we biked to the Ohio Stadium. We parked our bikes at a bike rack at what used to be a Holiday Inn. After that we walked to the French Field House and through it in a tunnel. Some people were yelling O-H and everyone else yelled I-O!!

At the stadium we went up lots of stairs, then we went out onto the bleachers and up a lot more stairs and found our seats in the second top row. During the game people on one end of the stadium would yell O and we would yell H and the people at the other end would yell I and the people across from us would yell O. Later in the game we bought hot chocolate in Ohio State cup for 9$. We shared a cup because to buy two cups would cost $18. At half time we watched to Ohio State and Michigan marching bands. The Ohio State band played to Ode to Joy.

Ohio State won the game and we sang Carmen Ohio. We went around the bleachers almost to the other end of the stadium because the staircase wasn't as crowded because all the Michigan fans had already left. Then we went inside and all the way down to the bottom and then we walked all the way to our friends' tailgate party, where we got to eat sandwiches and hot chocolate on their bus. Then we found our bikes and biked home.

It was very fun because there was lots of yelling and I like to yell!!!
